Experience birding among the cultural landscapes of the Four Corners, from the high desert to the mountains. Located in the archaeological center of America, many of the field trips visit spectacular areas such as Mesa Verde Natl. Park and the Ute Mtn. Tribal Park. Diverse habitats from mountain high country, to river corridors and rugged red rock canyons provide microcosms of several Colorado Plateau ecosystems offering opportunities for a wide variety of species. Lectures, art show, keynote speaker and banquet round out the events for the weekend. Tour leaders are seasoned birders willing to share what they know. Enjoy a friendly learning experience.
