    Pole-mounted feeder baffle #2

We have been enjoying our squirrel-proof feeder for a long time and now want to share it with others.

We took our flagpole, painted it, and set it upright in an ideal place for a feeder. We then attached our chosen feeder on the flagpole rope with a bracket and hook at the top of the feeder, and with a U-shaped metal bar that went around the pole on the back of the feeder, to keep it from blowing in the wind. Using the rope, we can raise and lower the feeder for filling and cleaning. We attached a squirrel baffle underneath the cleat (the tie-off hook) where the extra rope gets wrapped. The birds love it and so do we.
